In the Associate Space: A Cross to Bare by Walter Cote "This latest series of works is focused on the image of a cross. The cross has special meaning in my life being a Christian so I used it as a starting point for many of my recent paintings. My goal was not to necessarily do religious paintings, but to mainly put the image of the cross as something recognizable in an abstract work.
